Planted by an Italian stone mason in the late 18o0s, this Zinfandel is one of the oldest vineyards in the Northwest. This Zin displays complexity of flavors that only come with age. It fills your nose with scents of blackberry jam, fig, and hints of tobacco. This lush zin brings to your palate fruit-forward flavors of ripe blueberry, dried cranberry, white pepper, and a smooth lingering finish. Lay this down for a few months to really enjoy its complexities. Excellent with Italian food, steak, barbecue, and a good book. Only 188 cases made.
