Tasting Room Hours
Our Tasting Room is now open 7 days per week. Our summer hours are Mon-Wed. 12-5 p.m., Thurs. 12-10 p.m. and Fri - Sun. 12-7 p.m.

Due to loud live music, tastings after 6:30 on Thurs. are not encouraged.

Tasting Room Available for Private Functions
The Pines Tasting Room and Gallery is now available to rent for private functions. Please keep us in mind for wedding receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate meetings, and much more.

Lonnie Wright Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Lonnie Wright, owner of The Pines, was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Oregon Wine Board at the Oregon Wine Industry Symposium on Feb.22 in Eugene, OR.

According to the Oregon Wine Board, the Lifetime Achievement Award is "given to a person or couple whose work was pioneering and spans not only a personal lifetime, but the lifetime of the Oregon Wine Industry." Wright was recognized for his work pioneering vineyards from 1978 to the present in the Columbia Gorge and Columbia Valley AVAs.

According to Oregon Wine Board member Leigh Bartholomew, co-owner of Dominio IV and general manager of Archery Summit, Wright received multiple nominations and letters on his behalf to receive this award. It was voted upon unanimously by the board to award Wright the Lifetime Achievement. Bartholomew also mentioned that only 6 others have received this award, including pioneers Dick Ponzi and Bill and Susan Sokel Blosser. It is truly an honor to be held in such esteemed company.

We're thrilled that Lonnie was recognized for his decades of digging in the dirt to plant some of the best vineyards you can find! Next time you see him, let him know how proud of him you are, I know I will.

We're Moving our Tasting Room

We've had our tasting room on the corner of 2nd and State St. in downtown Hood River for nearly 7 years. What started as a 650 square foot tasting room has evolved into a 4500 square foot art gallery, music venue, comedy club, and event center. We have loved everything that the space has offered us, and we have some fantastic memories in our space, but it's time to get back to our roots and focus on the wine.   

We will be moving into our new tasting room on Aug. 1st, located just 2 blocks North on the corner of 2nd and Cascade St. at Mall 202. Until then, we will continue to enjoy our tasting room with wine tasting, live music Thurs. nights 6:30-9:30, Happy Hour Fridays 4-6 pm, stand-up comedy the last Fri. of each month, and other special events. We look forward to seeing you again in our tasting room soon.

New Tasting Room Hours

We will now be open 7 days per week through Sept. Our new hours are Monday-Wednesday 12-5 p.m., Thursday 12-10 p.m. and Friday-Sunday 12-7 p.m. We will no longer be offering regular Friday night music. Please join us for our weekly Thursday Night jam session with Kerry Williams and Friends or check our upcoming special events for exciting events happening at The Pines.

Enjoy another evening of non-stop laughtor at Comedy Night at The Pines.

Jason Hunter cemented his name in comedy as an opening act for such names as Bob Saget, Dave Atell, Jeff Dunham and so many more. His take on his own marriage, the surrounding pop-culture and 'redneck' ninjas are just some of the topics that Jason dives into with no regard of how he will look at the end of it all. Jason has been featured on Rooftop Comedy and was a national finalist in the Purina Pet Challenge. He has also been seen on CBS Comedy Night School and FOX. You don't want to miss this show!

Secret Salsa Society

Come join the Secret Salsa Society for an evening of music and dancing. Lessons are from 7-8 p.m. Then, immediately following the lesson, put your new skills to the test by dancing to live music by Dina & Bamba Y Su Pilon D'Azucar from 8-11.
